Our Curriculum Vision
We believe at Sinnington Community Primary school that every child is unique and our curriculum is designed to build on prior learning and provide all children with first hand learning experiences: allowing them to develop interpersonal skills, build resilience, become creative and critical thinkers.
We want to constantly provide enrichment opportunities to engage learning within the local area and further afield by celebrating local traditions, inviting visitors into school, and having new experiences through trips and visits to broaden our children’s knowledge not only of the local area but the world around us.
Our children will leave Sinnington Community Primary School with a confidence inspired by the knowledge they have acquired of the world with a clear understanding of their value and responsibilities within society.
They will have the skills to make decisions, self-evaluate, and make connections so that they become passionate lifelong learners.
Curriculum at Sinnington Primary School
The foundation subjects will be delivered to children through our Project Based approach. The Projects will be delivered in two ways, Class Projects and Whole School Projects. This will ensure coverage of all year group specific National Curriculum objectives.
